Mark your calendars! Dollar General is having another Clearance Event Weekend coming up! During the weekend of May 10-12, you’ll be able to save an additional 50% off ALL marked and unmarked clearance items, including seasonal and core clearance items! These events are Dollar General couponer’s favorite events and a great time to stock up on items you may need!
While waiting for more details to emerge about this event, here are some tips to be successful during the next Clearance Event:
- You can stack digital coupons with clearance items! Make sure to clip all digital coupons before Friday May 10. The DG app has been known to lag during these clearance events because so many people are using the app, so be prepared ahead of time!
- Scan everything with the DG app! The scan feature is truly going to be your best friend! Scanning will verify if the item is on clearance during the event by showing an additional 50% off the item, as well as any digital coupons that may be attaching to the item. Connect to the store Wi-Fi if you need to for better connection in store!
- Go through ALL aisles for hidden clearance items! You can look down the clearance aisle and front displays for clearance items, but anything throughout the store with an orange clearance tag or yellow sticker WILL ring up an additional 50% off during the clearance event as well! And many of those items could have additional digital coupons to save more money!
